Guys, the Gone series by Michael Grant is one of my favourites. I remember bringing home the first one from the library, back when I was fourteen. I didn't know what I had gotten myself into. I waited (impatiently) for every single book after that, and loved each of them more and more. They were disturbing, and frightening, and addicting, and oh so good. They all seem long but I can never manage to stop reading them. I still haven't read Light, the final book, because I just can't bear to let this series go. I love it too much. And it solidified everything Michael Grant writes being put on my TBR.

I'm SO EXCITED for Messenger of Fear. It sounds unique and spooky and exactly what I've come to expect from Michael Grant! The description reminds me a bit of The Devouring by Simon Holt, a series I freakin' loved as a young teen. I can't wait to see what Messenger of Fear is all about!

I've been reading the Gone series since the start, and each book it just gets better and better. It terrifies me to my bones, destroys my heart, and keeps me on my toes. It's edge-of-your-seat action with characters that will soon become friends. I'm still shocked that it's all coming to an end, and know it will not be picture perfect. It'll be gritty and raw, painful and powerful, what I've come to expect from Michael Grant. Although I can't wait for it to be in my hands, I know I'm going to be so so sad to see it end. Check this series out. You really need to.

How many days until this book comes out again? I've been waiting almost a year to get the next installment in one of the best most terrifying series out there: Gone by Michael Grant. I don't think I've ever been more disturbed by a book than I have been reading this series. It's not for the faint of heart, let me tell you! But, if you can look past the gore and scares, this book is filled with so much heart and the characters with so much determination, it's amazing to read about.

I'm kind of terrified to read this book. I mean, it's called Fear, and considering how scary the last four books have been, I can only imagine what horror's await the kids of Perdido Beach. And I only have to wait just one more short week! I highly recommend this series, if you can handle terrifying monsters, vicious people, and more fear than you can imagine. Grant's frightful world will leave you gasping for breath and cowering under the covers all the while keeping your eyes glued to the page. It's wonderful.
